The official “Qualifying Period” for Milton’s municipal general elections begins the morning of August 21 and runs through late afternoon of August 25.
During the allotted hours on these days – from 8:30 a.m. to noon, then from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Milton residents who wish to qualify as a candidate in this election shall file a notice of candidacy in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall (2006 Heritage Walk). The candidate shall also indicate which seat they are seeking and pay the $390 qualifying fee.
