The Milton Equestrian Committee (MEC) considers matters of importance to the city's equestrian community. Its existence reflects the importance the City places on supporting, maintaining and embracing Milton's rich equestrian heritage.
MEC Mission Statement: The Milton Equestrian Committee is a diverse group of individuals, appointed by the Milton City Council, experienced in various equestrian disciplines, lifestyles, related businesses, and non-profit organizations. The committee is dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights and interests of equestrian enthusiasts and farm owners by joining together individuals interested in horses, whether for business or pleasure, and promoting equestrian activity in the City of Milton.
Milton Equestrian Committee meetings take place the third Wednesday of each month, generally starting at 6:30 p.m., typically in City Hall at 2006 Heritage Walk.
