Please be advised there will be an increase in the City’s development impact fees effective January 1, 2025. If you have development projects in Milton that require the submittal of applications for building permits after January 1, you have the opportunity to apply for an impact fee certification prior to January 1 to lock in the current impact fees for a 180-day period. Inspection Request Guidelines

  • All inspections requested before 4 p.m. will be scheduled for the next day.
  • If you need to cancel an inspection, it must be cancelled by 4 p.m. the day prior to the inspection.
  • All inspections must be scheduled through the email: inspectionrequest@miltonga.gov or through the Milton CityView Web Portal.

 

After Permit Issuance

  • Approved plans and permit cards (include trade permits including for trees, plumbing, mechanical or electrical) will be available to download on Milton CityView Web Portal.
  • Hard copy of approved stamped plans must always be on-site for the duration of construction.
  • Must have copy of permit card on-site for the duration of construction.

Certificate of Occupancy/Completion

  • Processing for certificates cannot begin until all final inspections are passed.
  • Certificates of Occupancy/Completion must be applied for using CO/COC Application and submitted through the CityView Web portal or by emailing inspectionrequest@miltonga.gov.
  • Once all inspections are passed, please allow 5 business days for processing of certificate.
  • Certificates will be sent via email and uploaded to the CityView Web portal; hard copies are available upon request.
