Milton GIS
Milton’s GIS (Geographic Information System) integrates location-based information with technology to serve City staff and the general public -- including providing valuable and detailed maps. Milton’s GIS Division, together with the City's IT Division, make up the City’s Information Services Department. In addition to the City's IT Manager, David Frizzell, the rest of Milton's IT and GIS services are provided by InterDev through the public-private partnership model.
Milton’s GIS strives to:
- Promote the use of spatial technology as a means of improving quality of life
- Create relevant & engaging content to strengthen Milton’s sense of place & inform its citizens
- Provide location intelligence solutions to facilitate data driven decisions
