Milton, GA
Home MenuBoards and Committees
Milton is served by volunteers on numerous boards and committees who generously give their time and energy to help shape City policies and decisions.
Unlike its Mayor and City Council members -- who are directly elected by voters -- committee and board members are appointed. Eight of them belong to committees that meet regularly (typically monthly) in public forums held in City facilities. You can find out more about all eight below (the only exception is Village Volunteers), including the names of their members.
The City of Milton also routinely convenes other special committees with a more narrow focus and limited time-frame. Examples include the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and the Trails Advisory Committee, among others.
