The Milton Police Department offers a variety of public education and engagement programs designed to help promote the safety of you and your family.
Our community programs include:
- Alive at 25 Driver Safety Program (email charles.fannon@miltonga.gov for info)
- Attend a Self-Defense Course
- Back the Blue Blood Drive (which happens annually during Police Week; the 2024 edition will be from 2-7 p.m. on May 14 at Stonecreek Church)
- Car Seat Check (a free service conducted by certified technicians; schedule a check by emailing rebecca.tidwell@miltonga.gov)
- Citizens Police Academy
- Coffee with a Cop (Milton businesses interested in hosting these regular, casual interactive events -- which will be publicized on the Police Facebook page -- can email rebecca.tidwell@miltonga.gov)
- Internship (for more information, email rebecca.tidwell@miltonga.gov)
- Ride Along
- Police Explorers/Cadets
- Shredding Event (a free, security opportunity for people to shred their documents that's offered once a year)
- Trunk-or-Treat (part of Carvin' in Crabapple and in partnership with Karate ATL; businesses and groups interested in participating can email rebecca.tidwell@miltonga.gov)
