full beer mugMilton's Finance Department issues alcohol beverage licenses and collects monthly excise taxes on alcoholic beverages containing distilled spirits as well as for wholesalers and brewpubs. The Milton Police Department issues and renews permits for servers pouring permits, special event alcohol licenses and public facility event alcohol licenses. 

Those wishing to obtain a new or renewed retail alcohol beverage license from the City of Milton and the State of Georgia should apply through the State online portal at https://alp.dor.ga.gov/_/.  This one-step process works for both the City and State licenses.
