District 1/Post 1
A longtime Milton resident and active community member, Andrea Verhoff joined the City Council in January 2022.
Upon graduating from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Verhoff launched a 15-year career focusing on technology and risk management services. She left the corporate world to launch her own, Milton-based business, AV Designs Boutique.
Verhoff has immersed herself in many non-profits in and around North Fulton County. For instance, she has been involved in the National Charity League – a mother-daughter volunteer organization – serving as the membership chair of its Milton chapter. Verhoff has also volunteered at The Drake House, Meals by Grace, and Dream Weavers of Georgia.
Much of her time, and her family’s time, has also been spent in public schools based in Milton. Verhoff has been an active PTA parent at Crabapple Crossing Elementary School, Northwestern Middle School and Milton High School.
That is a function of life being the proud mother of three daughters with her husband, Jeff. Together, Andrea and the rest of the busy Verhoff family often can be found at Milton High volleyball games, ALTA and USTA tennis matches, swim meets, equestrian practices, competitive figure skating competitions, performing arts shows, and North Point Community Church services.
