Check out -- and fill out -- the Junior Ranger Activity Guide, which you can find HERE. And have fun exploring!
The Junior Ranger program is a chance for young people to explore, learn, and love nature here in Milton. It is designed for 2nd through 6th graders along the lines of Junior Ranger programs found at many national and state parks -- though with a distinctly Milton spin.
Junior Rangers will engage in hands-on activities, fill up on insights about the natural environment, and venture in and around Milton's many picturesque parks. By doing all this, they can earn badges that recognize having achieved milestones along the way.
There's no cost to participate, though parents of prospective Junior Rangers who want to be celebrated at a Parks and Recreation Advisory Board ceremony (badge included!) for having completed their workbook and the like do need to complete the form below.
If you have questions or want to learn more about the Junior Rangers, please email parksandrec@miltonga.gov or call 678-242-2575. And to learn about Milton's parks -- check out our "Parks and Facilities" webpage then visit the parks personally.
