Only registered Georgia voters can cast ballots in the 2024 election.
In order to register, you must:
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be a legal resident of Georgia (and, to vote in Milton's municipal election, a legal resident of Milton)
- Be at least 17½ years of age (and at least 18 on Election Day in order to vote)
- Not be serving a sentence for a conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
- Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge
Voter registration is handled through the State of Georgia in one of two ways.
- You can either download and mail THIS FORM to Secretary of State, State of Georgia, PO Box 105325, Atlanta, GA30348-9562.
- Register to vote online through THIS STATE OF GEORGIA WEBPAGE. (Note: A driver’s license or identification card issued by the Georgia Department of Driver Services is required.)
A person must be registered at least 30 days before an election to vote in that election.
