How to Apply for an Absentee Ballot

Any registered voter who prefers not to vote in person may request an absentee ballot not earlier than 78 days or less than 11 days prior to the date of an election. So that means a person wishing to vote in a primary must apply for such a ballot between 78 and 11 days before the Election Day for that primary. The same goes for the general election date, which in 2024 is on November 5.
