Crabapple.Market.building2Commercial Permits must be issued for larger projects that are not covered under the Residential guidelines, generally anything other than a single-family home. However, they have similar requirements to those of Residential Permits, such as:

  1. Complete scope of work for renovations and new construction.
  2. Moving or adding plumbing service or appliances
  3. Moving or adding electrical wire or services
  4. Adding or replacing HVAC mechanical equipment
  5. Scopes and modifications to support occupancy requirements.

Once the permit has been accepted for review, approval or revision comments are issued (for all permit types) within 10 business days.
