What fun, worthwhile things are you and your children doing this coming spring and summer?
Now is a good time to start making plans – which you can do using the City of Milton’s latest, just completed Spring/Summer 2025 Parks and Activities Guide.
Check out that online publication HERE: www.miltonga.gov/ActivitiesGuide.
As with previous versions, the Spring/Summer 2025 Guide showcases athletic, arts, outdoor recreation, and other programs that people have come to know and love. Milton’s Parks and Recreation Department makes a conscious effort to improve those offerings year-after-year, though, so chances are good you’ll come across relatively new activities that you haven’t experienced before. We encourage you to sign-up (whether for yourself or your child) for as many programs as you’d like; Milton residents generally pay significantly less than non-residents.
For many, figuring out summer camps is a must – and something done sooner rather than later, ideally. Several Milton-affiliated athletic programs will have their own such opportunities that have varied registration openings and deadlines, as well as places to sign-up. The City of Milton directly runs a handful like Camp Compass (our day camp based at Milton City Park and Preserve), youth art camps, and Camp Joyful Soles. People can start registering for these on February 3, 2025.
You can also mark your calendar with dates for beloved community events. The Guide features a slew of them including the Community Egg Hunt, equestrian-themed Meet the Neighbors, Splash ‘N Bash in and around the City Pool, Memorial Day Ceremony, and Independence Day celebration (which has been renamed Red, White, and You).
While those take place on specific days and times, some things in Milton are for forever. The City’s parks fall into this category; they’re also highlighted in this Guide, along with what facilities can be rented.
