Thursday is a day to celebrate America. To do that – and keep everyone safe – the City will shut down part of Broadwell Road.
Specifically, the stretch of Broadwell between Crabapple Road/State Route 372 and Marstow Drive will close from 8 a.m. to about 2 p.m. on July 4th in both directions. The reason? So the City and its partners can set-up and welcome visitors to the City’s annual Independence Day Walking Parade and Celebration, which for the first time will occur on the holiday
itself.
Vehicles can follow detour signs that will connect Broadwell Road and Crabapple Road. Neighborhoods, and traffic on them, also will be impacted in the 15-or-so minutes starting at 11:30 for the traditional Walking Parade.
