Running a small business is rewarding, but it’s not always easy. Thankfully, you can participate in a special Small Business Success Series: Resource Day on June 13 to learn, connect, and address challenges that you now – or may eventually – have.
Spearheaded by the
Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, this event is aimed at those who you run or work in a small business as well as those considering launching one in the future. Starting small gives you a lot of freedom and
opportunity; what it doesn’t always come with is a lot of resources, staffing, or expertise in functions that are useful in many ventures even if they’re not core to your mission. This first-of-its-kind Resource Day should help with the latter.
Among other things, you can have free, one-on-one consultations with area experts on topics such as:
- Human Resources
- Information Technology (IT)
- Marketing
- Videography
- Web design
Not only will participants go home with lots of useful knowledge and contacts, they can also get a professional headshot – again, free of charge. Milton’s Economic Development Manager Anita Jupin also will be on hand to answer questions, share insights, and offer support to anyone who now or later does business in Milton.
The Resource Day will take place between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. that Thursday at GNFCC’s home at 10000 Avalon Boulevard in Alpharetta. Those interested should register in advance at https://gzdev.gnfcc.com/chamber-events/Details/small-business-success-series-resource-day-1033377.
