Milton Parks and Recreation Director Tom McKlveen is a true, trusted professional who understands the Parks and Recreation field – in terms of facilities, programs, and especially the people that make it all work – as well as anyone. And now, after many hours of intensive studies and hard work that culminated in a major exam, he's also officially earned the title as a Certified Park and Recreation Professional.

According to the National Recreation and Parks Association, the country’s preeminent organization in this industry which administers the CPRP program, this distinction is the gold standard “for all parks and recreation professionals who want to be at the forefront of their profession.”

“Attaining the CPRP designation,” the association adds, “shows that you have met education and experience qualifications, and illustrates your commitment to the profession as well as your knowledge and understanding of key concepts within parks and recreation.”
