What should the Windward Parkway and Highway 9 corridors look, function, and feel like 10, 15, or 25 years from now? Broadly, the in-the-works Windward Parkway and Highway 9 Strategic Master Plan will try to answer that question -- with pivotal help from citizens.
People will have the opportunity to offer their valuable input at a Community Meeting to be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on November 15 at the Hilton Alpharetta (5775 Windward Parkway in Alpharetta). This event will explore potential future investments in mobility, transportation, green space, and placemaking in this vital area that spans parts of Milton and Alpharetta.
This will be the second public meeting of its kind for this project, which is a cooperative venture involving the City of Milton, City of Alpharetta, and True North 400 (formerly the North Fulton Community Improvement District). It will be "open house style" with two brief overview presentations at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. along with activities designed to get citizens' views.
