Household Hazardous Waste and Paint Collection

Residents wishing to safely discard used paint as well as household hazardous waste like flammable liquids, gardening and pool chemicals, batteries, and more will have a special opportunity to do so next month.

The City will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection and partner on a Paint Collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, in the Cambridge High School back parking lot. Please enter from Cogburn Road onto Cambridge High School Road, then follow the signs in and around the lot.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection is free, by registration only, and limited to only those Milton residents who register. People can register for that starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 1, by going to www.miltonga.gov/HHWCollection.

The collection of oil-based and latex paints is a fundraiser for Cambridge High School's theatre program. There is no limit to who can participate in this, though anyone who does must pay fees corresponding to the amount of paint they plan to recycle.
