On June 13, a Georgia Alzheimer’s Association expert will share useful information with seniors and family members about signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s, as well as caring for those with this disease.
This free educational event at the Thomas Byrd Sr. House -- a historic City building and home to the Milton Senior Center, run by the City's partners at Senior Services North Fulton -- is open to anyone, including seniors as well as those who care about. It falls in the middle of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, an annual opportunity to enhance understanding and raise awareness about a disease and other forms of dementia that currently afflict more than 55 million people worldwide.
