The City of Milton is again partnering with the North Fulton Master Gardeners non-profit to offer community gardening classes. This is an opportunity for the Master Gardeners, with support from University of Georgia Extension experts, to spread the good word about understanding and supporting the success of plants. And it’s a way for the City to help keep Milton green, echo its Plant! Milton tree-nurturing initiative, and provide citizens with a valuable, sought-after program.
Three classes will be held between 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Community Center in Milton City Park and Preserve (1785 Dinsmore Road). The second will be on February 22, with a focus on:
- How to Keep the Tree in the Ground (featuring City Arborist Sandra Dewitt)
- The Fragrant Garden
