IMPORTANT UPDATE: Because of the wet and windy weather, Monday morning's Memorial Day Ceremony will now take place inside City Hall.
It will still begin at 10 a.m. and include music and speakers -- including, this year, Maj. Gen. William B. Dyer II, the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 108th Training Command. The only change (aside from their being no ceremonial release of birds, or the "Milton Air Force), for the safety and comfort of attendees, is that it will NOT happen outside at the Green at Crabapple Market.
Milton's annual Memorial Day event is an important, and always moving, opportunity for our community to come together to recognize, respect, and remember the heroic sacrifices of the brave men and women lost while serving in the United States military.
